Big Hero 6

This is the story of Hiro who is an extremely smart kid who spends his time bot fighting even though he could get into the university. He then meets his idol professor callahan who encourages him to go to the school. Hiro then enters the competition for a scholarship and wins. Then a fire happens which kills his brother. Hiro then goes into deep depression when one of his microbots start acting up he follows it to an abandoned wearhouse where he finds barrels of other microbots used for evil by a masked man. Hiro and his friends must now band together to fight off the evil of the masked man and bring him to justice. The movie was great it was full of action and emotion. Beymax also was a great edition bringing the whole movie together.

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

This is the story of Alexander and how he constantly has horrible days and his family seems to not care about it and their lives seem so perfect. At 12 he makes himself a birthday ice- cream sundae and wishes that his family new what it was like to have a bad day. Their day however is not just a bad day but a terrible,horrible, no good, very bad day. However theses freak things that are happening to them brings them closer together. This movie had me conflicted on one hand I thought it was funny in an outrageous way that they were having this terrible day but also I felt Alexander was an asshole to wish this upon his family. Overall the movie was an alright movie the comedy was ok it gave me a chuckle but nothing amazingly funny.

Teen Beach 2

The is the sequel to the Disney Channel original Teen Beach Movie. The twist on this movie is the characters from west side stories come to the real world and they love it but they must leave soon before they and their world are gone forever. The movie had a good story line but for me it was too peppy. so if your over nine you may be annoyed with the movie.

Southpaw

This is the story of Billy Hope and how he deals with the murder of his wife. He begins with a downfall in his life and looses everything including his daughter and becomes a shell of the man he formerly was. He then must struggle to fight foe his daughter and gain custody. The movie was very emotional and a great film.

$chooled: The Price of College Sports

This documentary highlights the debate on whether or not student athletes should get paid. It goes through multiple interviews which highlight both sides of the argument. The documentary was well put together and accurately shows the position of both sides. However, I think it sways more towards athletes getting paid. Personally I agree athletes should get paid but not by the institutions. So Institutions give them their normal scholarships but then money from endorsements and boosters get split between athletes and the program. An athletics association of the university will then decide how to split the money at the university comprised of the athletes to split the money by sport. Anyways this is an interesting debate for all sports fan and will continue for a long time.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

The hit animated TV series has come to life when the foot clan has been terrorizing the people of New York and the only ones who can stop them are the mutated turtle and their master splinter. The movie was pretty good. It had a good story line that connected pieces of the story well. The CGI was really good tooo to bring the turtles to life. Anyone who watched the animated series should definitely watch this movie.

Anchor Man 2

Ron Burgandy is back and is offered a national news position after being fired from his old job in San Diego so he gets the news team back together and they go off to New York to work for GNN the first 24 hour news network. He has a lot of success there and becomes big headed. When his chief rival trips him while ice skating and he goes blind. He then undergoes a procedure after a long time of self pity that gives him his vision back. The movie's plot line was all over the place and had akward humor. But overall the movie was alright.

Robocop

This is the story of Alex Murphy. He is paralyzed from an explosion and Omnicorp replaces his body parts. Later when he gains popularity Omnicorp tries to eliminate him and he must fight for his life and stop Omnicorp. The story was pretty good but there could've been more struggle of Alex's separation from his wife or his wife's struggle of separation from her husband.

David Ortiz: In the Moment

This is the documentary of Boston Icon David Ortiz and illustrates the long and elustrius career he had. The movie was informative and emotional.

When The Game Stands Tall

This is the story of the powerhouse Dela Salle High School and their struggle after losing a 151-0 wining streak. This all happens because of selfishness from players and the lack of playing for each others the team then struggles to find a way to win and become a family once again. This movie is very emotional and inspires people to think of others and not always themselves.

The Greatest Game Ever Played

This is the true story about armature golfer Francis Ouimet and his struggle of getting into a big tournament. The first way he tries to get in is by an armature tournament and he begs his father for the money and promises he will give up golf if he doesn't win. Things however, don't go in his favor and he quits. Oppurtunity comes knocking a second time when he is offered a shot at the U.S. Open title. The movie is suspensful and a great movie. You will fall in love with the character especially the caddy Eddie and throught the whole movie you be overwhelmed by emotion.

Saving Mr. Banks

This is the story of the creation of the iconic movie Mary Poppins and the struggle of Walt disney and the writer P.L. Travers. Through the whole process they butt heads and can't come to an agreement anywhere. Ms. Travers loves the story of Mary Poppins and can't bear to change a bit of the story. The movie is heartwarming and is a great family movie and helps reveal the true story of Mary Poppins.

Inside Out

This is the story of Riley and her move to San Francisco and her reaction to it. The movie is really funny and a great film. In the beginning the emotions individually have memories but by the end memories have complex emotions. The movie was hilarious and is something you should see

Terminator: Genesis

The resistance is looking to fight off the terminators and preserve the human race. The resistance sends Kyle Reese to stop the terminator's from being created. This starts tell race against time to save humanity. The movie is great and suspensful definitely something you should watch.

Hercules

The king of Thrace has offered a group of mercenaries who have hercules as their leader to join them in battle to protect their land in exchange for double their weight in gold. They fight along side these men and train them however they soon realize that the people who hired them are the true enemy. The movie stays true to the original stories however the movie seemed rushed and would've  been better as a 2 1/2 to 3 hour movie.

Noah

This captures the biblical story of Noah. It is super intense and full of drama. It also adds the characters called the watchers. I'm not sure if they were in the bible but they are great guardians by god. The movie is a great drama.

Sex Tape

This is the story of Annie and Jay who in the heat of their relationship were having a lot of sex. after getting caught up in life and being too busy for each other they look to spice up their relationship and make a sex tape. They then realize that the video is shared to the Ipads that Jay gives out to people and they look to retrieve the Ipads and get rid of the video. The movie wasn't that good. The humor was not that funny and a lot of times it was just  awkward to watch. It just wasn't that great of a movie even though the potential was there.

Ted 2

The Ted story continues starting by showing Ted's wedding and the happiest moment of his life a year later the happy couple isn't so happy anymore and look to get a baby. This leads into a huge legal battle to determine is Ted is human. The movie is hilarious and heart warming.
