Peter Pan Live

The Disney classic is brought to life in Peter Pan Live . This movie was great and Allison Williams was superb in her rendition of Peter Pan. The play gave more detail than the original cartoon which was good for the people that watched the original animation. Even for new comers to the story it had a great storyline that showed. This was define try a showing that everyone should see.

Hunger Games: Mocking Jay Part 1

This movie is about the rise of the rebellion. After the start of distrust in the capitol the districts are fighting back. Catnis' district is leading the fight but Catnis is not participating in the beginning till she sees peter and wants to fight for him. Peter however speaks hostility towards her and she is confused and believes he is brainwashed. The movie was good and very emotional. The movie really makes viewers feel the characters pain and struggle. Overall I really liked it and can't wait till the second half of the movie to see how the rebellion turns out

Sense and Sensibility

This is the movie for the book Sense and Sensibility by Gene Austin. The story is pretty good but cliche. Their are some surprises especially at the end but overall viewers know whats going to go on in the story. The movie is one of those that if your into completely over the top romance happy endings then this is the movie for you but for the average person don't watch it because it is pretty unrealistic. Like most romance movies, but this takes it way over the top. Overall you probably shouldn't watch it unless its for an English class where you don't want to read the book.  

Let it Shine

This is the story of Cyrus a lose who can rap. He enters a contest but the contest people think it is his friend. Cyrus goes on an incredible journey. The music was really good in this movie and so was the story line but don't go looking for hard rap or else you will be dissappointed.

G.I Joe Retalliation

The Joe's are back and they must fight Cobra. Cobra has taken over the country and has threatened a nuclear destruction of the world. The Joe's must fight to save the worl. The movie is full of action and is a great movie to watch with your buddies.

Run

Sean Pearson is a Parkour runner who moves to a new city. Sean then false in love with Emily and drags her into his crazy life. The movie story isn't good but the action is cool. The movie was low budget so the picture isn't as great as it could have been.

Lucy

Lucy is the story of a girl who is injected with CPH4. She then unlocks the secrets of the universe. The movie is high intensity and has a great story line.

Olympus has Fallen

Olympus is the story of a south Korean terrorist group who launch a full scale invasion on the white house America must then find a way to preserve their freedom and values.The movie shows how patriotic America is. Also the movie is full of action and is a great Friday night movie.

Miss March

Miss March is the story of 2 kids who find a playboy magazine and it changes their lives. One of them gets in a coma and wakes up that has ex girlfriend was supporting him and paying for his medical bills. They get back together. The movie is not good the story is predictable and boring. 

The Day After Tommorow

This is the story of a doomsday scenario where the world freezes to death. Now the world is struggling to survive. The movie is highly emotional and is a great movie.

Save the Last Dance

This is the story of Sara Johnson an aspiring dancer. On the day of one of her auditions he mother dies on the way in a car accident and must live in a new house with her father. At first she is an outsider but she learns how to fit in. This new experience helps her achieve her goal. The movie has a great storyline and is truly inspiring. 

Ghost Rider Spirit of Vengence

Johnny Blaze is back and he must save a boy who has a demon inside of him. Johnny gives up his powers and is given them back by the boy. The movies is really dark and has a good story.

Pineapple Express

Pineapple Express is the story of a drugie, Dale Denton who witnesses a murder. The drug dealers find him because they find his dubie of Pineapple Express. They then go on an adventure fighting for their lives. The movie is not good. The story line sucks and for a comedy it doesn't have that many funny moments.

Death Race

Death race is the story of the future prisons. In the future private companies own the prisons and have death races to profit. When the prisoner wins 2 races they can leave and are free. Jensen is sent to this prison and is tasked to be a racer they call Frankenstein he must now race for his freedom. The movie is full of action but doesn't really have a story. It's pretty good and this is a movie great to watch with the guys.

30 minutes or less

30 minutes or less is the story of a pizza guy who is kidnapped and forced to rob a bank. He drags his friend into his problem and now they are on this new and crazy adventure. The movie is funny but, in a dumb funny way. If you like movies such as Jackass this is the movie for you.

The Taking of Pelham 123

This is the story of a train hostage situation in New York. The movie is intense an emotional. This is a great story but not a lot of interesting scenes.

Real Steel

Real Steel is the story of a struggling robot fighter who finds out he has a son. At first he does not want his son but layer finds out his true love for his son and fights for him. This movie is great. It is full of emotion and action. A great family movie.

The A Team

The A Team is the story of an Army Rangers alpha squad. The team goes on an underground mission to retrieve the plates man are court marshaled. They then break out of prison and try to clear their names. The movie is full of action and humor. A great movie to watch with the guys.

Soul Surfer

Soul Surfer is the story of Bethany Sands, a surfer who looses her arm. She looses her confidence after regional but gains confidence when she voulenteers for a mission with her church. She is inspired when she receives letters from all over the world and competes in national she doesn't win but gains the respect of her peers. This movie is truly inspiring and t aches everyone you can do anything you put your mind to.

Max Payne

This movie is about a detective trying to solve a case of his families d3th. The movie is slow and dark. The story takes a little to develop and isn't very interesting.

The Hunger Games

The Hunger games is the story of Peta and Catnis. They are the tributes for district 12. They then fight for their loves when the games start. The movie has a good story bit takes a while to develop and is very dark. 

Million Dolan Arm

Million Dollar Arm is the story of a failing sports agent who gets an idea to find new baseball pitchers. He goes to India searching for a great player. The movie is super inspiring and emotional. Sports fans will love this movie.

Maleficent

Malficent is the story of a fairy who falls in love with a human boy. This boy aspires to be the king and later betrays his friend to get his goal. Maleficent becomes so angry that she places a curse on his child. He then outcasts his child till the day after her 16th birthday. Maleficent is watching over Aurora over the 16 years and falls in love with her. Maleficent then feels bad and seeks a way to reverse her curse. The movie is great especially if you know the story of Snow White. 

Footloose

Footloose is the story of a small country town that has banned dancing after an accident with teens that cost them their life. A boy named Ren McCormick comes to town and hears about these laws and petitions to end the law. The law is abolished and the town can dance again. This movie is very sweet and a great movie to watch with your significant other.

Young Adult

Marvis Gary a young writer comes back to her hometown seeking her old boyfriends love. She does ridiculous acts in order to prove she loves him. All of this is hopeless because he has a wife and kids. The movie is pretty boring. It has a good concept but it has a very blan story.

Daddy Day Care

Daddy Day Care is the story of a father who looses his job and has to find a place for his child to be taken care of. The father then opens up his own daycare with some of his fired Co workers and friends and they take the day care business by storm. The movie is very emotional and is a great movie for the family.

Armored

Armored is the story of Ty Heckett an ex soldier who gets a job as a security guard for Eagle Shield. He is then confronted by one of his Co workers to help with a robbery. At first he rejects the offer but then realizes that this is wrong when a man is killed. He must bow choose between right and easy. This movie is pretty good. There is little action and the movie is pretty blan but it's still tolerable.

The edge of tommorow

The edge of tommorow is about a human race be alien war. These aliens have the ability to reset the day. The main character then gets this power by getting some of the alphas blood inside him. The movie is full of action and is a great movie with the guys.

22 Jump Street

The dynamic duo is back and are going to college. A new drug is out and the team is looking for the source. The movie is a lot like 21 Jump Street just a different setting. Overall the movie is really good and really funny. In the begging there is a couple of secret messages so look out. This movie is really good and go see it now.

Into the Blue 2: The Reef

This movie is Tue story of two divers who get mixed up with the wrong crowd. They find out they are working with terrorist and are fighting for their lives. The movie story is dull and the fight scene was alright. The highlight of tuw movie was seeing Laura Vandervoot's tits. You should not watch this movie because its really boring and isn't entertaining.

Dragonball Evolution

Dragonball Evolution is the story of Goku and how he saves the world. Goku starts as a loser but then finds out he is the chosen one when the world ends. The story ends with Goku fighting his inner reminds and saving the world. The movie is pretty good the fighting scenes are good and the special effects are great. The story however, is short and needed a lot more plot development. The epilouge shows Piccolo being taken care of which signals a sequel.

Sex Ed

Sex ed is the story of a class of college students who are engaged in sex in one way or another. They are in a college sex class with a teacher who has very radical teachings. The assignment is to find a partner and sculpt their genitals. Everyone is hesitant and doesn't do the assignment except for one pair who the teacher declares to the class gets an A. The students then get into a heated argument about the way she is teaching but continue to stay in their class. By the end of the movie the students grasp a better understanding of themselves. The movie had poor acting and an adequate story line. Don't watch this movie its not worth your time their are much better movies you could be watching.  

Kobe Bryant: Beyond the Glory

This documentary on Kobe Bryant was very informative on the hall of fame basketball players life. Kobe endured many struggles growing up. He was always seen as an outsider. In Italy he was an outsider because he was the only American and more importantly the only black person in his school. He then went back to American and was an outsider because he was the only person in the school from Italy. Finally when he was in the NBA he was so much younger than his teammates which created awkwardness. This isolationism with the people around him gave him a lot of time to work on his craft. This gave him the opportunity to be the player he is today. The movie goes up to the 2002 season, in the middle of their 3 peat run and is very informative to viewers on how Kobe became the player and competitor he is today.  

Mississippi Burning

The Mississippi burning is the story of 3 civil rights workers in Mississippi who were reported missing. The FBI was sent into the state of Mississippi to investigate the matter because it was an interstate matter. The county officials were unhappy about this intrusion by the FBI. The FBI was asking several people questions about the incident and went around the town and found that a Baptist church was burned down. The 2 officers working on the jobs had opposing viewpoints on solving the case. One was more personable and got answers out of people while the other solved his cases by the book. In the beginning local African Americans hesitated to talk to federal agents because they thought that they were going to be beat up by Klansmen if they talked to the FBI. The FBI looked to the local sheriff’s for assistance but they didn’t give it to them. The local sheriff’s believed that the FBI was wasting their time. The Klansmen where brought to court but the charges were dismissed because the judge believed the actions by the Klansmen were provoked by outside influences. The officers kept going around the town looking for the truth and interviewed one of the Klansmen’s wives and consistently questioned her for answers. After that they got the answers they needed to convict the Klansmen of killing the civil rights workers. The African American church then has a ceremony in remembrance of the African American civil rights worker and in the pastors speech he brings up that this man will not be able to be buried with the other civil rights workers because of the differences in the color of their skin. After the ceremony in the church the congregation marches through the town and goes to the burial site.  The trial went to federal court because it became a federal issue when county officials were involved. The sentences of the Klansmen were between 7-10 years. The mayor was then found hanging in a basement after the trials. The movie is pretty good. It tells a very interesting story on civil rights and how people in the south reacted to the civil rights act of 1968. This movie is enlightening a shows the cruel racism of the late 60's     

Captain America The Winter Soldier

Captain America is back and is doing missqions for shield. Nick fury is attacked by the Winter Soldidier. Our valiant hero finds out that the Winter Soldier is his old friend Bucky Barnes. Captain America tries to save him after Bucky dosent realize who he is. Tue movie was great full of action and uncovering the future of the marvel franchise.  This is an amazing movie and if you are caught in the franchise this will answer a lot of questions.

Momentous men

Momentous men is the story of art historians who join the army to preserve artifacts and protect them from tuw Nazis. The move is pretty slow paced. There is almost no action even though it was probably expected. It still was a good movie though because of the story. The story is great and opens your eyes to the fact on how important art really is. This movie is good because of its message but don't expect tons of action because its not going to be there.

Shanghai Knights

Shanghai knights is the story of how Jackie Chan saves a takeover of Britain and China to avenge his fathers death. There is awkward humor in this and a lot of action. Its an OK movie but not a must see

Mr and Ms Smith

Mr and Ms Smith is the story of a married couple of assassins. They soon get a job on the same person and must tale each other out to finish the job. The hunt then begins for each other. The has a scene with Angelina Jole which is very sexy. Overall the movie is pretty good and full of a lot of action and romance. This is a great movie with a date.

Lara Croft Tomb Raider

This is the story of Laura Croft and her pursuit to see her dead father. The movie is pretty good. Angelina Jole is very sexy in this role. The beggining takes pretty long to develop and we don't know what's going on for a while. A very confusing part about this is why does Angelina have a British accent? I guess its to stay in character but if you have seen her other movies this throws you off a little. Another thing that threw me off was when the mystical stuff came in. There was no way to tell it was going to happen. Overall it is one of the better movies made from a video game.

Charlies Angels Full Throttle

This movie is pretty good and very sexy. The story line could be better because it seems to jump around a lot but it has a basic plot so that is pretty good. There is a lot of sexual hinting content but no sex or anything profound if you think dirty this will be pretty funny. For all you clean minded people don't watch it because you won't get it and the action isn't worth it.

Role Models

Role Models is a super funny movie. Two guys who are sentenced to prison get off the hook by mentoring kids. This movie is hilarious and is a great stay at home movie with your friends.

Ride Along

Ride Along is the story of a guy who is trying to get approval from this girls brother. The brother gets this crazy assignments to test the guy. The movie is hilarious because of the opposite personalities. This is a great Friday night movie.

Dirty Deeds

This movie is about an American and Australian gang who try to become partners. They then turn on each other. The story is very confusing with no real main character. The camera angles are also nauseating. There are humorous moments but its mostly boring. The ending is also blan. The movie is not very good and I wouldn't watch it again.
